The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining me!

Goals never comes easy. No one gives you goals – Frank Lampard

Wolverhampton Wanderers 4 Leicester City 3

The game started and 2 minutes in Nampalys Mendy has a yellow card after a long ball was played into Barnes and Mendy had to bring him down. In the 3rd minute Neves makes a spectacular strike and an even better save by Casper Schmeichel. Gray loses the ball in Leicester’s half, Moutinho steals it and in no time passes the ball towards the back post as Jota beats Simpson to the ball and scores. 1-0 Wolves 4 minutes in. 8 minutes later and Bennett is picked out from a corner by Moutinho and gets the better of Maguire and headers it into the back of the net after more dreadful defending by Leicester. Leicester are quick to respond as 6 minutes later Grey takes a shot and Patrico is quick to equal it and parry it away. 27 minutes in and Wolves should of had 3 as Jimenez delivers a superb cross. Maguire misses it and the ball falls to Jotas head but sends into Schmeichel’s hands. Not much happens for the rest of the half.

Leicester came on with a bang after the half time break. Demarai Gray picked up the ball from Vardy after he held off Benett and he drills the ball into the bottom corner out of Rui Patricio’s reach. Putting Leicester back into the game. 6 minutes in and Leicester are equal after an own goal by Conor Coady. Barnes struct the ball after miscommunication by Jonny and Dendocknker and Coady deflected the ball back into his own net. After 64 minutes Jota scores Yet again after Neves picks out Jota he takes the ball down on his chest and smashes it home. After a long period of next to no action Leicester equalise yet again in the 87th minute. Wes Morgan scores a header that rebounded off the post and into the back of the net. There is 5 minutes extra time, 3 minutes into the extended period and Jota scores his 3rd and Wolves’ 4th. Nuno (Wolves’ Manager) is sent to the stands in an almost identical situation to Klopp when he stormed the pitch. The final score is 4-3 to Wolves in a heart racing game.

Thats it for this week,

Charlie
